i recently had to reinstall windows on my comp, and at the beginning when i turn it on i have to choose which OS i want. My second coice doesnt work, When i just installed the new OS it suppodedly "deleted" the old one. But its still appearing on the boot list. Can i delete this option so it doesnt ask me which one i want? its windows media center

You could try running the recovery console and using the FIXMBR command. Or ya could edit ya boot.ini file.

What are the two OSes MCE and what else?

Raffaz is right, on the start menu, click run then type 'msconfig'. Click on the 'BOOT.INI' tab and you can configure startup options from there.

Note, be careful what you touch in there, as if by possible you touch or tamper with something you may not need to you may end up reinstalling windows again, but however if the boot option is the default one that appears in the bootlist options then you can set your timeout from 30 seconds at default to 2 or 1 so that it goes right through.
