Help With Adaware Program!

i was using Lavasoft ad-awarese when i found the usual cookies, but an additonal "registry" item. Im not sure what it is, and im afraid to quarantine it without proper advice. when i clicked on item details it said "regfile/shell/open/ command""/ notepad.exe 1%)

The description says "general windows security issue. Your system security may be compromised...."

do i have any infection, virus, or spyware of any sort?? 0.0 PLEASE HELP! What should i do!?

It looks like something altered a reg file. Usually they are safe to delete or quarantine once detected by Ad Aware.

I don't see how there would be a problem as notepad is a typical windows program. I'm not really sure what to say to that but generally if adaware finds a problem then it should be ok to quarantine it. If you are having any other issues as a result of quarantining this file then you can easily restore it.
