Default help!

Can I have some ones help? I need to load some files to a computer. Right now I am in MS-DOS and I can't get to windows. Can some one tell me how to load a file from a floppy disk in MS-DOS? Thank you I really need to do that.

Type a: (the floppy drive)
do a dir (this will tell you the name of the files on drive a)
Do a copy a: <filename and extension> c:\ <c:/ is where you are moving the file to in dos.
