I have an IBM NetVista Machine Type: 8305 Model: NSU

My wife received the computer from her work, they were going to have them recycled because they were upgrading their computers, but employees could take them if they wanted.

Anyway, it had Windows 2000 on it, but crashed this weekend due to a virus.
So, since I've been meaning to do it for a while anyways, I took off Windows 2000 and installed Windows XP Professional.

Now that XP is installed, my cable modem connection (ethernet?) isn't working, my speakers aren't working, and my USB ports only seem to work for a USB mouse, but only if you restart the computer with it plugged in. USB memory sticks won't work.

Any suggestions what I should do to make this thing work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like you need to reinstall XP, or try to get drivers installed for you mobo? but i dont see that happening if you really cant use the USB I/O's, or internet.

Where can I find the drivers at? If I could download them, and get them on a CD, I could try to install them that way.

Should be able to go to IBM.com>support and drivers or downloads or something along those lines>type in/choose make and model>choose XP and it should list all your drivers.
