Default help

I'm trying to open a folder that has important stuff that was not yet backed up and it says "windows is searching for new folder to search for it yourself click browse" is there any way to fix this.

Looks like whatever was in that folder has been moved. I would do a search for it using Windows Search feature.

What kind of files are we dealing with? Actual folders, Word files, pictures, MP3s?

Have you checked in your recycle bin, its possible you might have deleted it by mistake.

Does the video file still exist in that folder but with an unrecognized icon? Or it's just simply gone? If it's still there but has like this wierd looking white icon, you have to associate a program that pertains to that particular file type.
