heating, am I ok or do i need a new heatsink

I just got a intel core 2 quad q9450 and a heatsink but the heatsink does not work with my mobo as it doesnt fit. http://www.arctic-cooling.com/cpu2.php?idx=79&data=3&disc= that is the one i got that doesnt fit i have the Buckeye-GL8E mobo and i was wondering if i need to replace the heatsink before i use my comp or if it's ok for a little i do plan on upgrading my heatsink so can anyone reccomend one i can buy it seems like all the new ones wont fit

According to the specs, it's an ASUS P5BW-LA, and that's an HP board...just by loking at the LA tag. Now, It doesn't fit as in the pins won't align to the holes?
