heasdset and vista

i am trying to setup my headset on vista but it doesnt seem to work.

it is "line-in" undre recording.

any help?

there should be a microphone thing that probably is muted. That, or you have you headset plugged in wrong. It goes to the mic-in not Line-in.

Make sure it's set for the headset

well it's in mic in.

there are two inputs on the right panel of my laptop.

one shows a microphone, and one shows a headset.

i dont know how to fix the settings in vista.
