Heads up on the analog to digital conversion
As most of you may already know, or I certainly hope so at least, there will be a changeover after February 17, 2009 to receive over the air broadcasts in the United States because of the transition to digital broadcasting all over North America (including Canada). For those that have TV tuner cards in their PCs, you may not be able to recieve over the air signal as you will need a convertor box. Most tuner cards has only an analog broadcast tuner. Analog only TV receivers will continue to work as before with cable TV and satellite TV receivers, plus other video devices such as camcorders and VCRs, so no problems there.
Looks like we're all going digital soon.
