Headphones

I just got some new Bose TriPort headphones at the PX for $129, and no tax which is the only good thing about AAFES.
Anyway, with whatever headphones i'm using, I always hear some kind of static noises. What gives?

I've tried it in several computers and it does this.
Actually, when I have music or something playing you can't really tell.
