Default HDMI or DVI on High end Card

I have a LG 23 led monitor. My computer video card is a Asus Radeon 6970 it has DVI and HDMI out puts. Is there any advantage using the HDMI over the DVI, sense I am using such a high end card?

Default Re: HDMI or DVI on High end Card

HDMI is a newer spec, but there's virtually no difference visually over the two to 99% of people. I've used both, HDMI is nice because it can also support audio (but so can DVI, just with adapters) but HDMI just plugs in and you're done. It's personal preference really.
