HDD xbox replacment

one of my friends screwed up his xbox hard drive...so he wants me to fix it. well i googled it and only got how to mod one, but im not the best googler. so if anyone knows how to replace the xbox hdd or a website that will tell me what all i need (such as drivers programs ect) then it would be very much appreciated

You should be able to get a replacement Hard Drive from Microsoft for it? Just put it back in how the other was put in.

Put it back in, make it look like its never been messed with, send it off "I dont know it just started messing up on me after "insert recent storm/disaster covered underwarranty"
