Default which hdd is faster?

Option 1: 8.9 seek time w/ 2mb cache

Option 2: 11 seek time w/ 8mb cache

I'm assuming the Seagate is 7200.9 series. Hmm, honestly, I would take the Seagate, because the cache is simply four times larger.

I don't think it makes that much of a difference really. If you want to, you can get one with a lower seek time.

Wait, the 8.9 is not the Raptor is it?

Go with the one with a bigger cache.

Yeah, the more cache the better. Plus the Seagate 7200.9 drives are great.
