Default Which HDD is better for Webserver Serial ATA or IDE?

Hi Guys
I just want to know what would be the best to use for HDD for Webserver? Serial ATA or IDE? and would 320gb HDD be big enough to handle e-commerce site, email server,file server, FTP uploads?

SATA is faster in any type of situation.

it should be enough unless you want to have people uploading stuff for downloads. an average site is 25mb, unless you have lots of photos or something like that.
