Ok, so even w/ my lame CPU, I'll still be able to play like Call of Duty WaW, or COD4 at max?

And overclock what? The CPU? Dell blocked me from overclocking in the BIOS.
If it's the GPU, I plan on doing that anyways.

Those two games aren't very demanding anyway, so yes. But you won't be able to max out every game with your CPU.

(I could play CoD 4 on max settings with my 2600PRO on my same CPU :\.)

The 4850 is nice, but if you have a shitty CPU like me, newer games won't play nearly as good as they would with a dual-core CPU of some sort.

Before doing this: http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=61906

I didn't have access to my fan control, just go down to "Fan Control"
It works with CCC 8.12

OC is simple, just find ATI overdrive

I prefer Riva-Tuner. I can overclock, and control the fan.

But thank you a lot anyways.

any chance a Phenom 940 3.o-3.4 (OC) would bottle neck this 4850 Card?

I highly doubt it. As long as you have a decent Core 2 Duo, it won't be bottlenecking the card.
