Thats not entirely true. His computer does boot and runs, when he gets it to go on by pressing the reset button. And now his usb is on the Fritz. It does sound like bad board, but he shouldt require a new psu regarding its a 24pin board and 24 pin psu

Thing is, if the PSU doesn't bring the required votltage to the board, it won't POST, but sometimes after a while the voltage finaly gets to an acceptable level for it to POST.

It does boot, but not before having him press reset.

That's how I understood on how he gets his machine to boot.
