Default Hardware Questions

I MAY be getting a job where I can make $980 a month... can somebody help? I'm crap when it comes to hardware and I need the new following...

RAM
GFX Card
Power source

Here are my current PC Specs...

Dell Dimension 4600i
Intel Pentium 4 2.80 GHz Processor w/ Hyperthreading
1.0 GB of RAM
96.0 MB of GFX Card

Heres what I'm hoping for...:

Dell Dimension 4600i
Intel Pentium 4 2.80 GHz Processor w/ Hyperthreading
3.0 GB of RAM
512 MB to 1 GB of Video card (Don't know if you can have more than 1 video card, if so, then just decent/good 512 MBer is good)
A new flatscreen monitor

Is this possible for $980? Can someone recommend me products that would work for 4600i from Newegg? I'm sorry! I would do it myself but I don't know anything about hardware.

Thanks!

well go for ddr400 ram. I see no point in getting ddr333 since the price should be pretty much the same.

And as for the power supply, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341010

ram

monitor

video card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150223

and assuming your motherboard can handle it, and its socket 478
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116027

That brings you at 727. US

I would recommend just getting a whole new computer.

Oh yeah and the power supply that mammikoura said.

Whole new computer? Hell nah! I'll stick with my Dell, may be a bit older (2004?) but that doesn't mean it's unrenewable haha.
