I think I have to reinstall windows on it, then maybe it will be able to format itself normally.

I don't know how you can install any programs for any amount of functionality on a 2GB hard disk -- seems almost impossible, because Windows XP takes up 1.5GB of space.

Check your hard disk manufacturer's web site to seeif there are any tools that allow you to fill up the rest of the space on your drive.

When you reinstall, format it and DO NOT select "Quick"

By reading other posts I learned a way to format hardrives that arent shown in "My computer". I also learnt that formated disks dont show uup in "My computer". The only way that I know to format them is to right click on my computer, click on manage and there you can see the hardrives of your computer. This has helped so far.
