Is the computer posting at all? or does it get past that and then goes blank?

Maybe everything got deleted off the HDD (including windows) when you hooked up the PSU (like a power serge).

If it was deleted it would say something like "Unable to boot from harddrive. Please insert disk and press any key to continue" So I would say that the harddrive isn't wiped but it may have other issues.. You didn't change jumper settings or anything did you?

...or something altered the boot sequence, go in ur bios and check that the hdd with the os on is set to boot either before or after the cd/floppy drives.
