I have partitioned my hard drive C and D. I want to set so when i load a game or a program into my computer instead of defaulting loading into the C i want it to go to the partitioned part D. Anyone know what to do?

You'll have to choose custom install each time and navigate to your D drive.

Click Start > Run > type regedit, click OK.

Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion

Right click ProgramFilesDir in the right pane, select Modify to change it to the desired location.

You may also want to modify ProgramFilesPath to the same location as ProgramFilesDir.

You'll need to reboot to save the changes.

Does that change the default location for all installs?
