I figured since it was on the taskbar, I decided to go into it's properties and sure enough--the customization menu allows you to do just that. A lot of times, it will hide itself anyways (you know how it hides the inactive icons) so you never really see it most of the time unless you click on it.

STILL ANNOYS YOU KNOWING IT STILL THERE THOUGH.
I THOUGHT ABOUT CHANGING FROM IDE TO SATA YOU MAY JUST HAVE MADE MY MIND UP TO STAY WITH IDE BECAUSE IT WOULD ANNOY ME.
BUT I BELIEVE THESE CONNECTION ARE A LOT BETTER THAN IDE
