Default HARD DRIVE RECOVERY-- please

Hey guys, I could really use some help here. I have a laptop and my drive drive deceided to just spin and make noises now. It doesn't read any information to even boot up my comp. It sounds terrible and I am convinved that it is broken. I really need to data off of the drive. Is there anything that I can do to copy this harddrive onto a new one??? Thanks

More info on errors if any, like Raffaz said would help. You can also buy laptop caddies i think that enable u to plug the drive into a desktop, might help with the data recovery if possible, but this is a last resort kinda thing, means spending money lol.
