Default Hard Drive Question?

I am wanting to install a larger hard drive and a fresh copy of windows xp sp3 in my old dell dimension 2400. My main worry is that I don't have the original dell driver disc. If I just install the new hard drive and boot from the new windows cd, will I still need to load the drivers or will they still be there?

Thanks in advance!

You will need the drivers. Find them on the Dell website and save to a CD first. Its good to have.

EDIT you could setup JBOD and i think it wouldnt format.

Ok. I looked on their site and there are so many drivers broken into different categories, I don't know which ones are the most important.

You will need every one for your model computer.

Windows will probably pick most up on its own but I'd get them all because you dont know which.
