Default Hard Drive Question?

I bought a Western Digital 80GB Serial ATA Hard Drive, but the problem is, it doesnt fit anywhere on my mobo...is there like an adapter that i need to make the connector fit?

So your motherboard doesn't support SATA? They're pretty common (SATA controllers) and all motherboards today have them. You'll probably have to buy something like this if your motherboard doesn't have SATA interface:

It sticks right into an existing PCI slot.
