Ok I built my new computer and im using the hard drive out of my old computer. Well here's the problem I dont think I completely reformatted my hard drive. Here's why when I go to install windows I get an error message saying "Your system has detected a configuration error" Well I go into the BIOS evrything is right in there except when I look at my hard drive crap it detects it as 136GB, well it should be 160GB. So I'm guessing there is still crap on there that is messing up the installation. Does anyone know how I could reformat the harddrive now, because I have looked and I can't figure out how.

Go to the harddrive manufacturers website and get their diagnostics tool. These have a formatting capability to get your drive back to a blank drive. You will then be able to re-install...

I wish I would have known this sooner, I already ordered a new hard drive because I figured I was screwed. That sucks
