Hard Drive Problem

You may need to have a professional data recovery place swap out the pcb. If that doesn't work and it's something internal unless you have thousands to spend on recovery you're not getting anything off of it. Is the drive making any odd noises or does it spin up normally?

The user really needs the files, so sending her off-site for some professional recovery. I'll post what the error was in the end, kinda curious myself. Thanks for your help!

Well turns out there was servere logical corruption, tons of media errors, and an imminent head disk assembly failure, so yeah, she was done. Thanks a ton for all your help. The media was succesfully recovered by CDR.

Thanks!
Shawn

How much did it cost you for them to recover if you don't mind me asking, for that kind of error?
