Hard Drive Partition Question

OK, here's the situation:

I originally had an 80gb hard drive which I partitioned into 3 different drives (C, D, and E). My E partition is getting close to being full and I now have another (completely empty) 80gb hard drive. Is there a way, using partition software, to make my computer think that my 2nd hard drive is just an expansion of partition E? I hope I explained my situation clearly enough...

Thanks.

When i installed Ubuntu Linux on my laptop (which has a 40GB hard drive, for what it's worth), i had Windows already on C: and my documents on D:. However, the partition manager allowed me to resize those partitions to make space for Linux, so if that can do it, i'm sure a stand-alone partition manager can do it. Unfortunately, i can't recommend one, but have a look at the ratings on www.download.com
