hard drive issues PLEASE HELP ASAP

I suck at harddrives.

80G WDD
200G WDD

Trying to at least get my 200G to work. Its set in the primary ribbon slot with master mode on. I hear it power on but my BIOS says nothing is in there.... My CD-ROM is recognized but it wont boot from cd for some reason so.... Yea.

You need to partition and format the drive before you can use it. If you have done this then make sure you have installed the other drive as slave via its jumper and put it on the correct part of the same ribbon cable as the master.

well the 80G is formatted but um how do i ifnd out the right part of the cable?? I have it powered up but it doesnt say anything on the bios.....
