Hiren is a great tool. it is free available to everyone, its a bootable cd and you can do pretty much anything with it. hard drive testing is just one of the many things it can do, it has the specific manufactures programs on there. Its just advise its probably used 10 times a day in my workshop dont know what i would do without it. If you had it you would end up using it alot.

I did have it and found most of the software to be way out-dated. Getting the most up to date stuff from the manufacturer is always best.
