Hard Drive Crashing?????

Lately my PC has been freezing for like 1 second and everytime it freezes the speaker on the motherboard beeps.. Do ya think my hard drive might crash soon??

i dont think that means your hard drive is gona crash, just sounds like something is using 100% of the cpu for a second then going back to normal, watch the processes list and see which one is doing it

If its not that, it could be overheating check your temps in the bios or use speedfan usually my mobo makes a loud beep when it overheats but i have it so it beeps once and then shuts down automatically.

I rekon you got some spyware, adware or virus. building up ur cpu usage. that running program in the backround. best thing is to do a virus scan (bit defender) or spyware scan (adware personal) and see if it cleans up anything. If not then time 4 a back up and reformat..

Id say incorperate Spyboy search and destroy into whatever you do.

Thanks, I've already ran Adaware and Spybot and that didn't work but I'll try to run the virus scan and try that microsoft anti-spy.
