Default Hard drive cache :S

I can pay $179 for a Western Digital WD2500JS SATAII 250GB 8MB cache

$215 for a Western Digital WD2500KS SATAII 250GB 16MB cache...

Is it worth the $36 price difference to get 16MB cache? How would the extra 8MB benefit me?

From my understanding, extra cache only benefits performance in certain circumstance, so for an extra $36, I'd say not worth it, but maybe this article can shed a little more light: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cache#Disk_buffer
