Default hard drive

this computer i just built has like a system back up of like 99 mb and any time you goto save something it wants to save to that instead of the 1T hd. how or is there a way to make it forget the smaller memmory or make it just use the real hd for storge.

When you go to save something don't you have the option to choose where you want it to save? Just choose your main hard drive and the appropriate folder you want to save it to.

I think you are talking about restore points created by System Restore? You could turn that off but it's not recommended. You can also configure how much disk space it's allotted. Look at Control Panel->System and Security->System->System Protection.

If you're talking about a backup program look in the options and change the location of where to save backups.

i guess it will be fine just to choose lol but just never seen that before and its rather anoying
