Default Hard drive

I have an HP computer, and i have a normal NTFS hard drive, but also they gave me another hard disk name HP_recovery and i never use it or want to use it. Its a FAT32 file system though, i was wondering if i could change it to act as an External hard drive? Thanks for the help.
