Default hard disk problems

i keep getting hard disk errors!

the hard disk basically resets itself, you can hear it doing it.
when it does this the computer freezes n wont do naything else. no choice but to reset comp!

iv had it before n running fixboot and chkdsk in windows recovery fixed it, i done that again today but it stil does it every so often! cabling looks fine, i replaced the sata cable with a new one.

Default Re: hard disk problems

I would run scandisk surface test..
You could have a damaged disk.
could be some software that is running in the background freezing up the HD..

Heres a little test.. Boot to safemode with networking.. and start running like you normally would when the HD crashes.. See if you can recreate it..
