Hi, I've been messing about with desktop PCs for ages and resisted laptops (although I have one for work). I am getting curious about ipads and their clones.
I've seen the Hannspree Hannspad for £159.98 at Misco...

It runs Android. As I don't yet have a smartphone, is Android the kind of thing that's good for a tablet PC? Would this be a worthy rival to the iPad? I have thought about getting an iPad, but the expense and some horror stories have put me off!
