This has been going on for a while on and BFG is unable to help me.
I have updated all drivers for my computer after formating and still no go.
Oddly this only happens in Halo (no prob in BF2).

artifacts, is your card running at default speeds? If it is, RMA with BFG right away and give them those screen shots.

When I called BFG, the agent said it must be halo conflicting with the card since this problem is only with halo. So I don't think there is a problem with the card.

Can you do me a favor? Download 3DMark06 and run that. See if there is anything weird happening.

Just because it only happens with Halo it doesn't mean its a Halo problem. That just might be the game putting most strain on your card.

I'm sure Battlefield 2 puts more strain on it than Halo. Just compare the recommended specs, and you'll see what I mean.

Anyway, have you tried reinstalling the game? It's possible that some of the textures are screwed up.
