Default GTX460 768mb vs GTX460 1GB vs HD5850 1GB

Hi

Im getting on major headache reagarding this matter ive recieved a couple of quotes regarding pc's ect and they told me for cheaper and more performance i should get the HD5850.

I was going for the GTX460 1GB but then i read that there wasnt much difference between the 1GB and the 786MB.

I want to ensure i get the max performance out of my computer
what would you advise?

Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 768MB Review.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 1GB Review.

These reviews should make it a bit easier to decide between the two. But for the little extra you pay for the 1GB card it's worth it.

What about the HD5850 is it better than the GTX460?
I have read some reviews on some games they out perform each other but i dont care about that. In the end i want to know which card will give me the best performace all rounded.

The HD5850 and GTX460 perform pretty much the same; as you said they out wit eachother in different games.

At high resolutions or multi-monitor set-ups the GTX460 has no chance against the HD5850.
