Default GTX 770 OR GTX 660 SLI? But stuck in a situation

I purchased the gtx 770 and it does great performance on bf3 on ultra. However, I want to play ultra on bf4 and im not sure whether or not i should pay a return fee of 60 dollar and buy 2 gtx 760's. I want to make this computer future proof what should i do.

i'll anyday rather have a single GPU then 2. SLI just makes anything more loud and hot.
Also it depends on the game engines multi GPU support how much you will gain from 2 GPU's.
most engines handle it great though. so you will get better performance.
just note what you are paying for it in terms of noise, heat and power draw.
