i have bad 8 year old monitor with 1xxx x 7xx res.
i wondering which screens can i do eyefinity with, nvidia gtx 580 3gb sli.

as a upgrade. im still saving for screens and another 580.

Ideal res for any monitor these days is 1920x1080. The biggest problem really, is that 'EyeFinity' it's self is an AMD product for Radeon cards. I'm not sure what the NVIDIA equivalent is.

I would rephrase that to say that the ideal resolution of most monitors these days is 1920 x 1080. Not all new monitors are 1920 x 1080.

... and even then, that resolution won't tax the 580 all that much in current games. New ones however should prove to give it a bit of a run for the money however.
