your one at hoem may have lower brightness or gamma!!

well i dont know about them but my computer doesnt do that. i think they lying to you, i've never seen a green gun ever on my computer, probably because im so manly

Yeah that may be true. This computer (with the green effecct) uses a high contrast LCD moniter and the brightness is quite high.

At home however I have a fairly old CRT moniter.

I guess that could be it.

try messing with the contrast and then tell us the results

It has nothing to do with contrast.


BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I FIXED IT!!!!!!!!!!

To fix you need to type these in the consle.

Mat_bumpmap 0 <enter>
Mat_fastspecular 0 <enter>
Mat_savechanges <enter>


And then its gone!

i had a similar problem with the game...the guns sometime look purple:S.. but those codes fixed it..tnx...XD

Only green I saw was on the barrel and it looks like it was drawn that way. Having handled my share of weapons in Nam and elsewhere I'd sure would not be caught dead with that nasty looking pos he's holding. Needs cleaned. Hmm bet that's where the green came from.
Relax, enjoy the game instead of nit picking...
