Default graphics memory question

Is there a huge difference between 512mb gddr2 and 256 gddr3? wouldn't the gddr3 still be superior?

Default Re: graphics memory question

Yes, a card with GDDR3 VRAM (even a smaller amount) would be noticably faster than the same card equipped with GDDR2. The 8600GT is a good example.
