Question graphics cards

What is the cheapest graphics card that i can get that will run oblivion on high settings? some where in the $250-$350 range maybe?

You don't really need to spend that much, this $125 7600GT card will do it for you:

I'd recommend the 7600GT budgetwise or the X1950XT gamerwise. So, I agree with freestyler105.

is there any need for the directx10 graphics cards at this point in time or is it better to go with an nvidia 7600 gt save some money until the price for the direct ones goes down?

Well, for one the 8800 outdoes it in performance and games like Halo 2 and Crysis are Direct x 10 games.

apparently the 8800 outdoes the 7950 in SLI...thats just from things I read IIRC that is...
