sorry for stealing this thread, but in my local computer store, i saw this radeon x800 with this big *** thing where you put it into the motherboard. it didnt look like pci express and it was maybe 8-10 inches in length. what bus was it?

What 8-10inches no way. The only other thing I can think is agp 8x? Even that isnt that big...

how much do you think a standard motherboard similaiar to the one you get in dell dimensions 2400 with (PCI-E off course)would cost

Ok, just put it this way. 250 should get you a mobo and video card.
