i say go for the XT, if it doesnt run at advertised speeds, you can RMA it and get a new one.

You probably should get another fan to go in there... You do need some ventilation for other parts, you know.

Okay. I guess if it doesn't work I can always RMA it and Newegg is supposed to be very good at that.

Which brand of XT do you recommend before I order?

There's no extra place to hook up a fan. I bought this computer and they made it not very upgradeable. The only things you can upgrade are the ram and the cards.

That's why I'm sort of worried about getting a XT. If it overheats I have nowhere to go.

Hmm. I'm wondering whether or not to order it. It seems to have a lot of issues.

if your case doesnt have and places to put fans u should think about a new case, doesnt have to be expensive but it would most likely solve the problem of your current card overheating
