Question Graphics Card Question

I recently built a computer, and Im happy with it, but the graphics card isnt the best. This is the one I have: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-322-_-Product

Here is the one my friend wants to sell me: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130082

This is the motherboard I have if that helps at all: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-232-_-Product

So this is a good guy I know its a quality card, the question is how much better is it? Im turned off by the fact that its pretty old (Newegg doesnt even sell it anymore as you can see), that it has less than a 3rd of the memory, and by the fact that 9500 is a bigger number than 8800 lol (as you can see Im not computer savvy, just using common sense). So if anyone could tell me how much of an upgrade it will be I'd appreciate it, thanks in advance!

P.S. Sorry for being that guy with 1 post and its a question but I just wanna know what I should do

that 8800 would be a major upgrade.

Also, need to know what power supply you have to know if it can power that 8800,

Also, if you can affored, or let us know what your budget is, you can get an even better graphics card then that 8800,

Ex: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-309-_-Product
that card would destroy that 8800 by far. and is current generation with DX11

You got to have a Fiddle in the band!

This is my power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-953-_-Product

He's looking to sell it to me for 40$ which I know is a great deal. However I might just wait until Christmas where I would be willing to spend 150-200$ on a new one. What do you think is the better option?

Also just checking that the DDR # doesnt matter on graphics card whether its DDR2 or DDR5 (curious because I know it does matter for memory). Thanks.

Also if it helps Im looking to play the game League of Legends, Im sure you can look up the specs easily. Its not very high specs, and I run it pretty well, but right now I'm on Medium settings and Im usually at 60 FPS which is great, but sometimes during a lot of action on screen I can drop into the 40's. Im looking for a card that will have me on High settings 60 FPS no matter what (game is capped on 100 FPS btw).

Don't bother with the 8800 GTS. Get yourself a high quality $150-$200 card come christmas and you'll appreciate the new found power much more. With AMD releasing more 6xxx series cards and nVidia with their new 5xx parts, it'll be a great time to pick up a fast card this Xmas (pre or post, just pick a time, find a card you like and go for it)

Also look into upgrading your power supply. There's nothing wrong with the one you have now, but get at least a good 510 watt model if you're going to get one of those new $150-200 video cards.

The 8800 GTS isn't worth it, even if it were free, if you're considering a newer one anyway.

Do you have any suggestions for a graphics card in that price range? I'd like to stick with Nvidia since those are the only kind I've ever owned.

As far as upgrading the power supply, thats unlikely because I doubt I'll be able to afford it and my friend who lives a bit away put the computer together for me, and unhooking this power supply and replacing it with a new one sounds like a nightmare to me.
