Default Graphics Card Question

What's more important to look at for a graphics card: core clock or memory clock?

Because one crd I'm interested in has a higher core clock but the other has a high memory clock.

Also, would this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102410

work with an Intel made motherboard? Finally, can you take a glance at the graphic card and reassure me that it doesn't need a powercord just for itself like a bunch of the newer cards.
