Hey Guys,

I am a new user of this forum, I am having big problems with my radeon 9200 graphics card. While i am playing any type of game, the computer after some minutes will shut down automatically.

Could it be the heat of the CPU? or the graphics card?? what can i do?? any help please

Thank You

Yeah, Once I was playing a game and it kept resetting, It was my graphics card overheating. Check your CPU temp. in the BIOS.

Open up your case and just touch the graphic card to see if it's hot.

Graphics Card

Yes i opened the case and the graphics card is hot. I can't understand why this type of grophics card is manufactured without a fan on it. Only heat sink.

Is it normal if i change the heat sink to a bigger one??????

Yeah. Older cards only had heatsinks on them, which is really weird (go figure). So older video cards tend to overheat when playing intense games, cuz the heat is just trapped there in the heatsink and gets hotter.
