sorry for slaughtering the english language, but i need help bad

as Suxor said, they will work.
PCI-E 2.0 x16 and PCI-E 1.0/1.1 x16 are backwards compatible and vice versa. As long as they are PCI-E x16 it should work.

You will only see a difference in them benchmark programs, but when playing games, watching videos, etc, there would be no difference since theres not card out there that can use up all its bandwidth.

well i found this im not sure if its bull, but a conformation would help

"I would get the EN9800GT ULTIMATE/HTDP/512M ,it says it is a 9800GT but it has 128 stream processors verus 112 and it comes clocked at 725/1750/2000.It is as fast as a 9800GTX .It is backward compatable so it will run on a PCIe 1.0 16x slot. newegg.com has them for $149 plus a $25 rebate and a free game. It says it needs a power supply with 26amps on the 12v rail,so you may be pushing it.But you can find some good ones at newegg pretty cheap. But you may have no problems with yours."

OOOH okay thanks sooo its a good to go to buy?

well, im updating it from a radeon 9200 series

its a bit outdated.

im guessing its this card?

seems like this one has a better clock than a regular 9800GTX, but the memory clock is lower.

i dont really know anything about nVidia products, but the performance between them wouldnt be huge, probably just a few frames in games.

Do you have a good enough of a power supply to run the card?
