Question Graphics card

i have a question.
is the MSI NX8400GS a decent graphics card?

Depends. I recently put one in a computer with 2gb ddr2 800 and an E5200, and could run Mirrors Edge (runs on the UT3 engine if you're unfamiliar with it) on low settings at around 40 fps on average. For gaming it's pretty low end, but you can get away with some stuff on it. For everyday wordprocessing and what not it's more than enough.

Gibson pretty much hit the nail on the head. It depends on what you wish to do with it. If all you want to do is output to a higher-resolution monitor or something that your onboard/old card can't do then yes. If you are looking to game with it, it's a waste of money.
