that card will max any game on a 22in screen,
except for like Crysis

Games it will not max at 1920x1080 0x AA/AF (most likely very incomplete): Crysis series, STALKER series, Metro 2033, ARMA II, X plane 9, Cryostasis, Flight Simulator X, Lost Planet, Farcry 2 (your average fps will be 30, but dips are pretty bad)

Pretty much everything else (at least everything I can think of) will be cake for this card at max. It will still run the games I listed beautifully, just not at max.

I care about framerate in flight sims. It makes a huge difference. Try playing X Plane 9 at 100% max. I can almost guarantee you not get over 2 fps in heavily populated areas.

ARMA II is actually a pretty popular game. It just has crap optimization. Lost Planet was kinda meh (but the sequel looks pretty good) and Cryostasis is actually a really good game (albeit poorly written) though it lacks replayability.

I was just listing games, lol. Actually, the one in there that nobody seems to ever play is Farcry 2. It just was not very good.

a buddy of mine thats a pilot plays ridiculous amounts of FSX, an he says it dosnt bother him to have 15< fps

It varies based on who you ask, but 15 fps should be playable, as long as you are not in a warplane or something. I like more though. It bugs me when the framerate is under 30 fps. Saw a movie the other day, and if it was a video game, I would have considered it 'unplayable'

If you have it maxxed and are getting 15fps, it really does not count as being as maxxed IMO.

Yup, that will work great. They recommend at least a 450W power supply for the HD4850.
