Default Graphics card

Hi guys im a noob here im just wondering if some one can point me in the right direction in regards to a new video card i have a 5 year old mother board. the model is a7n266-vm its a asus board i would like to up grade manly for gaming purposes thanks.

The best AGP card available at the moment in the HD 3850. Here is one but it will be so much faster than one of the 9xxx series: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161225

RV670 is 55nm and hardly sucks up much power. And even if he has a P4 or an Athlon XP, the HD 3850 would still be so much faster than a 2600.

He'll need at least a 450W power supply to run the HD 3850.

Without having to go to a more powerful power supply, his best bet would be the HD 2600PRO that mikee286 suggested or maybe even a EVGA GeForce 7600GT 512MB.
